For the past eight years on vacation at Lake Powell, I build a large mosaic near our house boat.  The mosaics are made of rocks, driftwood, shells and plants.  Sometimes, I add other elements that I find on the beach.  They've been featured in the Salt Lake Tribune travel section.  I leave them behind - hopefully, for someone else to come across and enjoy.  Here is the link to my Youtube video documenting the making of my 2012 project with a compilation of the other projects I've made.  I hope you enjoy!

My daughter, Ashley is inspired by nature as well.  She is a gifted painter and recently started making some beautiful nature inspired mini-mosaics.

My husband and I hiked the temple quarry trail in Little Cottonwood Canyon.  I found this lone sunflower growing between canyon boulders in the dry creek bed and thought in was so beautiful - the Van Gogh quote seemed to fit perfectly.
In memory of my favorite pink tulips.  A gopher ate all of them.  Justice was swift...my cat ate the gopher!
